How It Works
Draws the image on a canvas, then uses ctx.fillText() to overlay the watermark text. Opacity is set via ctx.globalAlpha, color via ctx.fillStyle, and position is calculated based on the selected preset relative to the canvas dimensions.
FAQs
Can I add an image watermark instead of text?
Currently only text watermarks are supported. Use the Image Cropper or an external tool to overlay an image watermark if needed.
Can the watermark be removed?
Text watermarks rendered with moderate opacity across key areas of the image are difficult to remove cleanly. For strong protection, use higher opacity and position it over the main subject.
Will the watermark print correctly?
Yes. The watermark is baked into the image pixels at the original resolution, so it will appear in prints and all exported copies.
