How It Works
The tool loads your image onto an HTML5 Canvas element, scales the canvas to the target dimensions using the drawImage() API, then exports the result as a new image using canvas.toBlob(). No data is transmitted anywhere.

Does resizing reduce image quality?
Resizing an image smaller (downscaling) has minimal quality loss. Upscaling beyond the original dimensions will cause pixelation, as the browser interpolates missing pixels. For best results, start with the highest resolution source available.
