How It Works
Draws the source image on a canvas and exports it with canvas.toBlob() specifying the target MIME type (image/jpeg, image/png, image/webp, image/bmp). WebP and JPEG support a quality parameter; PNG uses lossless encoding.

Will I lose transparency when converting PNG to JPG?
Yes. JPG does not support transparency. The tool fills the transparent areas with white before conversion. Use PNG or WebP if transparency is needed.
Is WebP supported in all browsers?
WebP is supported in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari (15+). For older browser compatibility, JPG or PNG are safer choices.
Does converting between formats affect quality?
Converting to PNG is always lossless. Converting to JPEG or WebP applies lossy compression. Converting from JPEG to PNG does not restore any quality already lost in the original JPEG.
