Agreement

These terms govern your use of textwonder.com and every tool, page and article on it (together, "the Service"). By using the Service you accept them. If you do not, please stop using the site.

There is no account to create and nothing to sign. Using a tool is the agreement.

What the Service is

TextWonder is a collection of free utilities — text, PDF, image, developer, calculator, health, student, colour, data and unit tools — that run as JavaScript inside your own browser. Nothing you process is uploaded to us. There is no server-side processing, no storage of your files, and no queue your work sits in.

Because of that architecture, a few ordinary consequences follow: the tools depend on your device's memory and speed, very large files may fail on modest hardware, and results are not recoverable once you close the tab. Nothing is saved for you.

Acceptable use

You may use TextWonder for personal, educational, and commercial work, free of charge. You may not:

• Use the Service to process content you have no legal right to process — for example, documents you obtained unlawfully.
• Use it to produce material that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes someone else's intellectual property.
• Attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or interfere with other people's use of it.
• Scrape, mirror or automatically re-host the site's pages in bulk, or present its content as your own.
• Interfere with the advertising that funds the site, or generate invalid ad traffic of any kind.

Your content stays yours

You keep every right in whatever you put through a tool. We claim no licence over it, because we never receive it in the first place — see the Privacy Policy for how that works.

Output produced by a tool is yours to use as you wish, including commercially.

Our content

The site's design, written guides, tool copy and code are owned by TextWonder and protected by copyright. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote from an article with attribution. Republishing whole pages, or reproducing the tool suite as a competing site, is not permitted.

Third-party libraries used by the tools — such as pdf-lib and PDF.js — remain under their own open-source licences.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that a tool will be error-free, that results will be accurate for your particular case, or that the site will be uninterrupted. Calculators and converters are built carefully and tested, but they are informational aids — check anything that matters before you rely on it. See the Disclaimer, which matters especially for the financial, health and academic tools.

Keep your originals. Before using a tool that modifies a file, keep a copy. Browser-based processing can fail on an unusual file or a low-memory device, and we cannot recover anything for you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TextWonder and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Since the Service is free, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to it is limited to zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Advertising and third-party links

The site displays advertising through Google AdSense, which is what keeps every tool free. Ads are selected by Google, not by us, and their appearance here is not an endorsement.

Articles sometimes link to external sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove tools and pages at any time, and may suspend the site for maintenance without notice. We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them — without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
