Privacy Policy

The short version

The content you put into a TextWonder tool — your text, your PDF, your image — never leaves your device. Every tool on this site is JavaScript that runs inside your own browser. There is no upload step and no server that could receive your files.

Separately from the tools, this website is funded by advertising and uses standard web analytics. Those two things — Google AdSense and Google Analytics — do set cookies and do collect data about your visit. That is described in full below, because a policy that quietly omits it is worthless.

Who we are

TextWonder (textwonder.com) is an independent website operated by Aayushman. It is not a company with staff or a customer database. Questions about this policy, or any request about your data, go to our contact page or directly to aayushman6139@gmail.com.

Your tool content is never collected

This is the part that matters most, so it is worth being precise about the mechanism rather than just asserting it.

TextWonder is a static site. When you open a tool, your browser downloads a JavaScript file and then runs it locally. Counting your words, merging your PDF, resizing your image — all of it happens in memory on your own machine. PDF and image tools use pdf-lib, PDF.js and the browser's own Canvas API, again entirely client-side.

We do not operate an application server, an upload endpoint, or a database. There is no infrastructure on our side capable of receiving your text or files, which means there is nothing for us to store, sell, leak, or hand over. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any tool on the site. No request carries your content.

When you close the tab, your content is gone.

Local storage on your device

Some tools save your most recent input in your browser's localStorage so you do not lose work by navigating away. Your theme preference (dark or light) is stored the same way. This data sits on your device only and is never transmitted anywhere.

You can remove it at any time with the Clear button inside a tool, or by clearing site data for textwonder.com in your browser settings.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies in two places, both from Google. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies of our own.

• Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics 4 to tell repeat visits apart from new ones and to measure which pages get used.
• Advertising cookies — set by Google AdSense and its partners to select ads, cap how often you see the same one, and detect click fraud.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-C7Q4Q1J205) to understand which tools people actually use, so we know what to improve. It records things like the pages you view, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.

It never receives the content you type into a tool. We look at this data in aggregate; we are not trying to identify individual visitors and have no ability to do so.

You can opt out across all sites with Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising and Google AdSense

TextWonder is free and carries no paywall, no signup and no usage limits. Advertising is what pays for it. Ads are served by Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-4076619037767871).

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
• Third-party vendors and ad networks may serve ads on this site and may themselves use cookies to do so.

We never pass your personal information or your tool content to Google or to any advertiser. Ad selection is handled entirely by Google under its own policy for partner sites.

Opting out of personalised ads does not remove ads — it means the ones you see are chosen without a profile of your browsing.

Other third parties

• Google Fonts — typefaces load from Google's servers, so your browser makes a request that may log your IP address. No tool content is involved.
• Cloudflare Pages — hosts this site and serves the files. Cloudflare processes standard server request logs for delivery and security.
• CDN-delivered libraries — PDF and image tools load pdf-lib and PDF.js from a public CDN. Your files are processed by that code locally; they are not sent to the CDN.

What we do not do

• We do not ask you to create an account, and we have no user database.
• We do not collect names, email addresses or payment details anywhere on this site.
• We do not sell or share personal information for money or for cross-context behavioural advertising.
• We do not read, retain or transmit anything you paste into a tool.

Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability.

In practice, we hold no personal data about you that we could act on — there is no account and no database. The data described on this page sits with Google as an independent controller, so requests about analytics or advertising data are made through Google's privacy tools. Where we do rely on cookies for analytics and advertising, our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via your browser settings or the opt-out links above. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Your rights (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.

We do not sell personal information. We do not knowingly share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the Google AdSense cookies described above, which you can switch off through Google Ads Settings. Exercising these rights will never result in a worse experience on this site — every tool works identically either way.

Children's privacy

TextWonder is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will look into it.

Data retention and international transfers

We keep no personal data ourselves, so there is nothing on our side to retain or delete. Google Analytics data is retained under the retention period configured in that product; Google's advertising cookies expire on their own schedules. Because Google and Cloudflare operate globally, data they process may be handled on servers outside your country, under their own safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes — a new category of data, or a new third party — will be described here rather than slipped in quietly.
