How It Works
Uses the tracking.js library to detect faces in the image using a trained cascade classifier. Once faces are identified, a pixelated blur effect is applied to each detected region. Blur intensity is adjustable from subtle to heavy pixelation.
FAQs
How accurate is face detection?
The tool is quite accurate for front-facing faces in good lighting. Profile shots, tilted faces, or poor lighting may not be detected. You can re-detect or manually adjust as needed.
Can I blur specific faces only?
Currently the tool automatically blurs all detected faces. Use the re-detect feature if it misses any, then download.
Will it blur animals or objects?
The detector is trained specifically for human faces. It generally will not detect animals, but may occasionally flag objects or patterns that resemble faces.
Can I adjust which faces are blurred?
The tool detects and blurs all faces automatically. For selective blurring, use the Image Watermark tool to manually cover specific areas.
