URL Parser & Inspector
Break down any URL into its components and query parameters.
About URL Parser
Paste any URL and instantly see every component broken out: protocol, username, password, hostname, port, pathname, search string, individual query parameters (decoded), and fragment. Great for debugging redirects, API endpoints, and OAuth callback URLs.
Use Cases
Debugging API endpoint parameters, inspecting OAuth redirect URIs, decoding URL-encoded query strings, building URL construction logic, understanding third-party tracking parameters.
How It Works
Uses the browser's built-in URL API (new URL(input)) which parses the URL per the WHATWG URL Standard, then iterates URLSearchParams to list all query parameters with decoded values.
FAQs
Does it decode percent-encoded characters?
Yes. Query parameter values are decoded from %20 → space, %2B → +, etc. automatically.
What if the URL has no protocol?
Prepend https:// — the URL API requires a protocol to parse the host correctly.
